A great little air mover,

"I purchased this fan about a month ago and it easily has paid for it's self since. With a hot summer and no air conditioning, it's been pretty good at cooling the house off at night. Currently it's used to cool two rooms as it's a little small to as a whole house air mover. A pair of them would likely suffice for whole house cooling at night though. Purchasing a can of electric motor oil at the same time isn't a bad idea either to keep the bearings from wearing out prematurely with some of the cheaper made electric motors made now. The motor in this one seems fairly well made but it's rare to find an electric motor that is designed for the long term these days."

Inexpensive and works well,

"I bought this fan to replace a larger 18" floor fan which had too much airflow for moving heat convection from a gas heater. It moves the air well on low setting and has run non stop for the last 3 months of winter. It is mounted "up side down" from the overhead floor joists. Reasonably quiet (on low), well balanced, and cleans reasonably well. I am satisfied and would recommend for smaller air movement needs."

"THis is a good compact fan I use it to Cool engine compatments works good. Only propblem was the first one they shipped didn't work Northern sent me a new one that day ,I didn't even have to return the old one."
