"Does the job, but is intended for light duty projects. Instructions were terrible, hard to read and gave incorrect info regarding mixer blades, which were poorly constructed and required much thinking and inventiveness in order to install. Although the performance is satisfactory and I would recommend it for the home hobbiest, I would NOT recommend it for anyone who is not mechanically proficient."

"I purchased the 4.1 cu. ft mixer to pour some concrete in an area that was hard for a concrete truck to get to and it worked like a champ ! My wife and I mixed 56 bags of concrete in 2 hours and it didn't miss a beat . I was concerned about the motor being a little small for this use but it purred right along , not bogging down one time . Very easy to use and assemble . Perfect for do-it-yourselfers"

Perfect mixer for DIY,

"This mixer is the perfect piece of equipment for the money and it's capability. Anything larger than this would almost need a job site to seem feasible. I did notice that the drum will only mix two 80lb bags of redi-mix, with any more than that it doesn't seem to mix as evenly. The tilt feature not only allows you to change the angle of the drum so the concrete mixes better, it also allows you to pour concrete directly from the mixer to wherever it is you are doing your work. The design allows it to be moved with minimal effort, even with concrete mixed in the drum. I've sunk a good 300 ft of 4x4's in the ground, and can't imagine doing it with a wheelbarrow and shovel. This mixer will make you want to cover your home in concrete. I already have plans for extending my driveway, adding a sidewalk, and even laying a slab for a small shop in my backyard. I would have given it five stars if it weren't for the unclear assembly instructions, which I ended up tossing. Took about an hour to completely assemble."

Great for small jobs,

"There were a few places in the assembly instructions that were a bit tricky to follow, so you need to be able to look at the job and figure some things out on your own. When mixing the concrete I found it's easier to put the water in the mixer first and then slowly add the concrete as it's mixing. On my first batch, I put the concrete mix in first and then added the water. The dry concrete mix stuck on the blades and in the back of the mixer and I had to stop the mixer several times to dig the dry powder loose with a shovel to get it to mix up. The mixer seems to be a little unstable when mixing two 80 lb. bags of concrete mix but it still does a great job. Probably not good for large jobs but it's a very good machine for occasional or small jobs."

"A little smaller than I thought it would be. Assembly easy except for installing the inside blades, instructions say it turns cw and align blades in that direction, finally gave up and put them in the way they fit, but actually it turns ccw, so they were in correctly. My wheel barrow didn' t fit under it without tipping the wheel barrow up, good thing I had a helper, with the first batch. If your mixing by yourself, check the wheel barrow clearance before you start. Disappointing that it went on sale shortly after I got it...."

"I'm very pleased with my mixer. Very easy to use and plenty of power. I use it for mortar and sidewalk jobs. It came in a box with easy to read instructions, it took 45 min to put together and was ready to go. Works well with two 80lbs bags. Well worth the money."

A Great Value for the Price,

"The mixer arrives in pieces and took about 2 hours to assemble, but the instructions were clear and I was able to do it all by myself with a socket set and simple tools.

I used it to pour footings for a new deck, and also some repair work on the foundation of a summer cabin. It saved me a ton of backbreaking labor.

The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is that I think the motor is just a little underpowered for the capacity of the machine. You can fit 2 bags of standard pre-mix concrete but this strains the motor and after a few batches the breaker in the motor will trip from overheating. However mixing one bag a a time it works like a champ and you can mix a lot of mud in a pretty short time with a minimum of strain.

The wheels make it easy to move around, and it's lightweight enough that i can get it in the back of my pick up by myself (although it's much easier with two people)

For the price - its a winner."

Great machine for the money.,

"We bought the mixer for use around our acerage. It seems there is always a need for a batch of concrete from time to time. We used the mixer to pour a flagstone walk from the house to our new garage. The mixer worked great. Assembly was easy due to the very clear and understandable instructions. The mixer has plenty of power and empties well when dumping. I would mix two 80# bags of quickcrete at a time with no problem. This is a great machine and I would recommend it to anyone."
