Does exactly what it is supposed to,

"I can't believe I used to use a wheelbarrow to mix cement. I have mixed over 50 80lb bags of cement with this mixer and it works very well. I had considered a larger unit, but it easily takes one bag at a time and mixes so quickly, there is no reason to need a bigger capacity unit. By the time I could pick up another bag, the first would be mixed. The wheels and small size allow it to pour the cement exactly where needed. This is light enough for one person to easily pick it up, so less is definitely more useful. I would highly recommend it to any contractor pouring footers for decks, concrete stairs, pads, etc. We let friends borrow it and easily fit in the back or her small hatchback."

CM200 Mixer is OK!,

"Unit assembled easily and has a pretty small footprint (easy storage). With a 2 cubic foot capacity (1 cubic foot of concrete mix), it is for small batches only. I have used mine to mix about 75 80lb bags of Sakcrete - works very well. The worksite should be fairly smooth - if not, the mixer does not maneuver well with the hard wheels - this said, it can be used in fairly tight places."

"Great small job, one bag at a time. Handles 80lb sack, turns strong. Easy setup, instructions clear. Would have given five stars if the cart mounted the drum higher to allow for easier dumping. I use it set up on three cement blocks to give me adequate ground clearance"

Little Mixer,

"The mixer came in short order and was easily assembled in less than one hour.
It's perfect for tight spaces and and for small pours. For instance, my first project is a 11.5' x 15.0' pad under my deck in the back yard by only pouring one 3 x 5 section at a time. It takes about seven 80 pound sacks to fill this size section - just enough to do in one evening after work in about one hour. The mixer is great for the small space with limited head height and working room. I pour the water in first and then slowly add the cement. No problems at all. I only wish 80 pounds were as light as it used to be 30 years ago!
Next I am planning on mixing mortar and pouring a garden curb around all my gardens which will only take about 1/2 bag and sand per load so that should work easily with this mixer.
At least it is just about right to load the cement bag in my wheelbarrow and then slide the open end of the bag to the mouth of the mixer. I don't really have to lift the bag for too long.
I'm very pleased with the mixer. I used to pour garden curbs (contoured mower curbs) for a business and knew this was not going to be a high-output unit. Just what I expected though. It works great!"

Use for mixing Planting Mix,

"I bought this mixer primarily to mix my garden planting mix. I use one part vermiculite, 1 part compost or bagged compost, and 1 part peat moss.
It works perfectly, and I get a uniform mix.

I plan to also use it for mixing single 40 or 60 lb bags of concrete mix for sidewalk sections."

Better than a wheel barrow,

"I would have given this 5 stars if the plastic housing on the motor wasn't broken. Fixed that with super glue and duct tape and will be contacting customer service.

The mixer was easy to put together and a welcomed improvement over mixing concrete in a wheelbarrow with a hoe. It took a couple of bags to get a good way to empty the full bag into the drum. The project I was working on took 16 80 pound bags and it took about 5-10 minutes from one bag to the next compared to 10-15 minutes the old way. Very easy to move the mixer from one point to another and pouring was a snap.

Another feature I really like is the compact size which makes it easy to store. For small projects this product is perfect. Might get one for my son for Christmas."

"Mixer performed flawlessly running two days for approx 6 hours continously each day. Mixed 35 80LBS of sacrete. 80LBS bag is the absolute max that you can mix and I would reccommend using 60's. Mixer is low to ground so it is awkward to load. For the money = it does exactly what it is designed for. For the homeowner handy-man that will only use it occasionaly, it will do fine. For commercial use - only if you havea crew that will take care of your equipment."
