Works Great!
Product went together easily, definitely need 2 people to stand it up, etc...
We have been using this crane for over a month now, maneuvering 500 lb dies into crates and onto work benches, and has performed without issue.

1000 pounder Gantry
Bought two of these to use as suspension frames for full body automobile modal testing and analysis. Went together easily, provided excellent design for incorporation of attachment points and adjustment of height by one operaor. Excellent value for my use.

Adjustable Gantry Crane
Used This to change out a boiler. Was easy to move around and worked perfectly! And I can see many other uses for this. well worth the money. A lot better deal to buy than rent one.

Gantry Crane
We purchased this crane awhile ago and it has served us well. We use it to remove box lids from tooling. The box lids weigh several hundred pounds and need to be lifted several feet into the air to access the inside of the box. The crane is very mobile. We sometimes have to maneuver it around other boxes and we are able to do this fairly easily, although it is not real easy to move without help, it can be done. Generally, we leave the gantry at the same level. However, It is rather difficult to change the height. It takes two people lifting and adjusting the holding pin several times in order to raise or lower the height. I would still rate it fairly high since it does what we need and was fairly inexpensive. Ideally, there would be a better way to adjust the height.

Even for boating
I ordered the crane so I could lift my Hobie Cat up out of the water on the lake where I live. I beat no one else has ever done this. For the months of June and July I don't have a beach on the lake where I live that I can put my boat into the water because of a sea wall. I have a 7 ft sea wall at the front of the lake and I love to ride the Hobie Cat so I needed some thing that would let me lift it 5 feet out of the lake so the boat would be safe and so I could drop it down to the water whenever I wanted to go sailing. It works great I love it and it is so easy to set up and take down because of how it bolts together. By the end of July I take it down because the water level has usually dropped to such a level as to have a beach I can pull the Hobie Cat on to.
The Crane has made me a happy sailor. I would recommend this crane because of the way it is put together and it's great versatility!
