Good Saw, Lousy Stand
The saw works well, other than the fence not being removable, but the stand is not at all what I expected. Evidently "gravity rise" just means that the unit is counterbalanced when you lift the handle. It does not rise pneumatically. Also, the wheels are set so far apart that it won't roll up the ramp on the back of my box truck for transport. I'm annoyed that now I will have to spend more money to get a different stand.

This saw is well built. Having a little difficulty folding the table all the way down, but overall very satisfied with product.

Worth the price
Great saw, plenty power for 4/4 oak. It'll also run a dado blade in oak. My only complaint is that the grey finish wore off of mine after the first job.

The saw and stand were easy to set up. Portability is a real plus. This is my first table saw so I'm still learning all the cuts I can make with it but so far the learning curve has been simple. Great price at Northern Tool for the quality of the saw.

After reading the reveiws I bought this saw I was either going to get the Bosch or the Makita. The stand is great the saw very sloppy Lots of free play in the rear carrage. spoke with bosch they told me it was not normal. Took it in to a factory repair facility they kept it and when I went to pick it up nothing was done they told me there that this is normal for a portable saw. there is know way to get any kind of precise cut with it having that kind of play. The insert is a joke the dado insert is ok at best the zero clearance insert dont even waste your money on its plastic when you tighten it down it will distort and cause the front and rear of it to raise above the table if you leave the screws a little loose so it doesnt do this they will come loose. The standard insert is marginal you calt level it if you are ripping stock for face frames for cabinets forget it the cut will start ok but when the wood leaves the rear table and is only on the insert forget it. You need to make your own. The outfeed suports lots of play in them not really worth the money. I purchased this saw as a replacement for a saw i have had for 20 years if you dont need anything that is precise than ok but if you want something that is dont buy it The Makita is rock solid and the stand is as good plus it will rip a two by four in one pass

I wanted a table saw that was easy to move around and not take up so much room in my garage. After reading the reviews on so many other table saws this was the one I choose. It was easy to put together with very little adjustments needed. I did go through all steps of putting it together to make sure. The extended top is really nice too. The table sits very solid on the ground. Folding it up or down is very easy to. They put some thought into this saw. Sometimes I just use it for a workbench and it works great for that. Taking it out of the garage and putting it back is so easy on these pneumatic wheels. Takes up less room in the garage which was one of it's biggest selling features for me. Changing the blade is very easy to do. Used the table saw with a dado set and it worked just fine. Just had to remove the plate from around the blade which was so easy.

Amazing jobsite saw in a portable package
I took a chance on this saw after disappointing results with a jobsite saw by Ryobi. That Ryobi saw would never stay aligned and the belt took 2 hours to change. The Bosch saw is so steady and accurate and comes with accessories that fit nicely on the frame. I love its "anti-gravity" stand that I can roll right off my enclosed job trailer and set up in about a minute. I like every single feature of this tool. BTW, I do house remodels and upgrades, then rent them. I have had great satisfaction from every single Bosch tool. I just wish the excellent jobsite radio accepted the 9.8/12volt batteries. This radio has a better receiver than many stereos.

Bosch table saw
I am a carpenter / remodelor and I have used the DeWalt , Mikita, Craftsman and the Bosch and the Bosch is the best in my opinion. Especially with the stand. Everything is laid out well and all functions superbly. It has a very good fence for a portable saw. Lots of good features compared to the other saws. If you have room for this saw in your truck, trailer or van this is the one to buy.
