I have used it to lift from 6ft down a well and then up an additional 4ft to a 55 gallon drum It did not have an issue pumping in that situation. It is self priming.

This pump does not have a PSI rating. It is a very low pressure just for transferring. If you are looking for a high pressure pump I would recommend the model PC4, item #10945. It has a maximum pressure of 50 PSI. See reference below.

Can this pump clean warm water?

Details:

I am looking for something to use as an inline water pump that is pumping water through a tankless propane water heater, the heater only runs at 3gpm, but needs 20 to 80 psi. This is a closed loop system, basically heating 160 gallons of water in a water trough, to be used as an "eco" hot tub. Because of the nature of the system, for the last 10 min or so it will be pumping fairly warm water, maybe up to 95 degrees F.

The Wayne 115 Volt Transfer Pump is neither a diaphragm or on demand pump. Once plugged in it will run until it is shut-down. It is a self priming pump.

will it pump calcium chloride

Details:

Will this pump calcium chloride that is used in farm tracot tires. I know it is corrosve, but if a person was to clean it up and then oil the impeller area before storing, should it be able to hold up?
It would most likely not pump more then 50 gallons a year, as it would be a personal item, not a commercial item.

The Wayne 115 volt Transfer Pump will have a running power draw of 2 amps(330 watts). The draw under initial start-up will be approximately 6-10 amps(690-1150 watts).

great little pump we love these pumps we use it almost weekly pumping in and out fluid in tractor tires. it usually get about two yrs out of pump before having problems. rebuild kits are available and not costly. and back running again. small and easy to store. October 15, 2012

Deer Camp Life Saver I purchased this product to transfer water to my 5th wheel camper at our deer camp. I pumped over 200 gallons with the pump and it worked perfectly. Loaned it to a friend recently and he used while camping to fill his camper. He said it was an awesome pump and is going to get him one. I think it is a great product. August 20, 2012

Awsome WVO pump I used this pump to transfer waste veg oil. So far it pumped easily 250gal with no problems. Just make sure you have something on the end to stop it from clogging up! I use 3/4" PVC with a bunch of little holes about 4" from bottom of pipe. Works Great!!! April 11, 2012

Excellent Great little pump for its small size. I use it to pump water out of commercial fuel tank sumps that get rain water in them. It pulled water up six feet from down in a sump well and up four feet to a 55gal drum. Works well for my uses. If you are pumping anything other than clean water you will want to add a filter or screen on the end becasue it has a small passage that will clog with any leaves etc. October 17, 2011
