I have a business building custom ornamental iron driveway gates. I have done this for many years, providing a superior product with lasting quality.
I owe much of my sucessful position to making the right choice of automatic gate opener. No matter how pretty, or well constructed the driveway gate may be, the customer/ homeowner mainly is concerned with the operator being 100% reliable so he can forget about it. I learned a long time ago to put the GOOD OPERATOR on my gates, instead of having to change it for some reason later on. So, to protect my integrity, and my customer relations, and both our happiness, I use only Mighty Mule 500 gate openers. I NEVER get recalls over a gate, or more importantly over the opener. I do not advertise for my business, because I have more than enough work from customer referrals (word of mouth by happy homeowners). Mighty Mule 500 has protected me and my customers 24/7 for a long time. It is very comforting to see how many lifelong friends I have, all resulting from a nice driveway gate with a GREAT OPENER. I build gates ranging in width from 10 ft. up to 20 ft., with a gate height ranging from 4 ft. to 8+ ft. tall. I design lots of gates which APPEAR to be a dual swing gate (two swinging half gates), but are acually one WIDE gate on ONE automatic operator. The Mighty Mule 500 handles this demand with ease. I am talking about 17 - 20 ft. wide, and 7 - 8 ft. high!! That is a LOTof gate and requires a good strong operator. Mighty Mule comes to the rescue again, another "500" gets installed. Instead of the famous "INDY 500", I will challange you to the "MIGHTY MULE 500", where we all can become, and remain in the WINNERS CIRCLE!!! This Mighty Mule 500 opener was definitely designed and engineered with the installer, and the daily user in mind. After all the many many 500's I have installed, I still can't think of even one item that I would change if I was able to, because this was built thorough and complete, with you, the consumer in mind. Why can't all manufacturers of all products think like this, and then build with us in mind.-- Programming the opener is made simple on the DVD, and is fun, instead of a headache. I have had years to decide, test, troubleshoot, and be sorry, BUT.. I made a very wise choice after studying openers years ago, and became a very satisfied and comfirmed believer in the Mighty Mule 500. From that day forward, the list of happy customers grows and multiplies.
