Overview

The NorthStar® Tow-Behind Sprayer with boom is great for applying chemicals to large and small areas. 40in. boom with left/right nozzle control. Flexible Lexan® boom arms will not bend, kink or break. Made with polycarbonate resin, known for scratch resistance, toughness and weatherability. NorthStar's proprietary tank design features extra-thick walls won't bulge or sag. It stands up to chemicals because thanks to a special polymer known for its superior chemical resistance. Tank is UV-stabilized to prevent fading and other sun damage. Remote switch to turn on boom from vehicle. Long hose with gun clips to tank when not in use. Tow-behind cart attaches to ATV or garden tractor. Order optional extended boom kit item# 2820. Agitation kit available, order item# 28520. U.S.A.

"I have a 1/2 acre that I maintain. It doesn't sound like much, but when you walk around with a little 2 gallon, hand-pump sprayer, it seems like it takes forever.I purchased my 16 gallon pull behind sprayer 1 year ago. Not only has it saved me time, but also a sore arm and back. I no longer push around a spreader for lime and fertilizer. I only have to use the spreader for seed. I now purchase liquid fertilzer, lime, weed killer, and insecticide. It is easy to use and cleans quickly and easily. I would recommend this product to anyone who wants to save time and aching muscles."

"I purchasers my Sprayer over 10 yrs ago. Mine was a 15 gal. model, I had over 1 acre @ my home and also used it at my church's property ( 2 acres) every year and it still works just like the day I bought it with no problems what so ever. Used behind my riding mover with the on-off switch mounted on my mower. Every simple and easy to use."

"I am very pleased with the overall construction of the sprayer. I had absolutely no problems following instructions to assemble the product.
We have used it several times , spraying the lawn plus spraying the trees.
We will give the dandelions one more shot before freeze up and hopefully our lawn will be all green and not half yellow."

"Having recently purchased this sprayer and using it for the first time, I was completely satisfied with its ease of assembly and performance. I'm using it to spread liquid fertilizer and weed control on approx. 1/2 acre of land, what used to take a few hours to perform, now the time has been reduced to only an hour. I would recommend this product to anyone who want's to make life easier"

"I bought this sprayer in the spring of 2009. Have tried to use it six times. Something breaks on it and I have to work on it everytime I use it. I am about to order my third boom valve. I have had to completely rework the tubing so I could use the hand sprayer which I have also had to replace this year. Do yourself a favor and buy any sprayer other than a Northstar sprayer. I would have rated it with 0 stars had I been afforded that opportunity."

"This is great for alot of things. We spray for bugs and moles on the lawn. The handle is great for spot jobs and we even use it for our trees. Just wish it was green to match my mower.....guess I could paint the mower red?"

16 Gallon tow sprayer,

"I purchased this item 2 years ago. It was not the easiest to assemble due to the tubing being cut to improper lengths at the factory. The sprayer works great. We have the boom and the nozzle. I have had problems with a couple hose fiitings leaking and have had to retighten them. Also the on/off swith had a velcrow attachment that I would bolt on as it fell off and I ran it over. We have used it about 10 times and put 50 gallons thru it so far. Easy to clean out and 20ft plus reach for the trees."

"I HAVE A LITTLE OLDER MODEL OF THE SAME BRAND.
GOOD OVERALL PRODUCT EXCEPT FOR THE PERIPHERAL SPRAYERS IN THE BACK OF THE UNIT. THE PLASTIC FITTINGS CRACKED IN THREE PLACES AFTER LESS THAN THREE YEARS.
THE UNIT WAS NEVER LEFT OUTSIDE AND WAS (IS) ALWAYS PROPERLY
CLEANED."

If it won't roll , why buy it,

"Got this unit for Christmas last year and at that time saw some negative comments regarding wheels and axle . I experienced the same issue . After about three uses a wheel bearing went out , called customer service which replaced the item , a few more uses and the same problem occured again. Will replace the axle and tires with after market items . Could've got a unit for my ATV and would've achieved the same results at a lesser expense ."
