The NorthStar® ATV broadcast spot sprayer comes equipped with a newly designed NorthStar on-demand diaphragm pump. Wide 14ft. spray pattern with dedicated broadcast lance/nozzle — no boom arms to clip and break on trees or posts. Heavy droplet pattern ensures minimal drift. Separate spray gun adjusts from stream to cone. Universal spraying solution lets you spot spray and broadcast spray at the same time. NorthStar's proprietary tank design features extra-thick walls won't bulge or sag. It stands up to chemicals because thanks to a special polymer known for its superior chemical resistance. "After buying the ATV Sprayer I practiced with using water as I didn't want to waste chemical. I use the sprayer all summer long keeping the gravel driveway to the pole building clear of weeds and all the other areas I want weed free. Being able to mix up 16 gallons at a time I'm not wasting alot of time mixing in my hand sprayer. I keep my complete 5 acres free of unwanted weeds and looking fine."

"This spray worked great, however, I would not recommend the agitation kit. When the agitation kit is running the sprayer does not have enough power/pressure to pump anything out the spot sprayer and the boom sprayer power/pressure is cut by 80%. When treating my yard for broad leaft, I ended up stopping every couple of minutes to run the agitation kit. I don't know if I needed to do that since the solution "sloshes" around pretty good on its own. Also, the fittings on the agitation kit leaks a little, which is not good when dealing with chemicals.

I bought this product with the intention of mounting it on my TORO Titan 54" Zero Turn mower. My dad is working on a front mount so it will extend out front, but as you can see from the pictures it works fine mounted to the foot rest area. I simply used two 2x4 for support and two eye bolts mounted through the foot rest deck on the mower (it already had holes for water drainage).

Mounting it this low to the ground obviously limits the claimed 16ft wide spray patter, but it still sprayed an impressive width and put the water solution down extremely consistently.

I would highly recommend this sprayer to anyone!!"

"I purchased this sprayer to spray Bahia grass killer on a large amount of yards and it worked perfecly. It is easy to setup and learn to use and I would reccomend it to any person that needs to spray large areas. The sprayer also comes with a wand for spraying small areas. Yes, there is a slight power/pressure drop, but both work great at the same time.

I also purchased the recommended agitation kit with mine and when the agitation kit is running you cannot use the spot gun and the broadcast sprayer is cut to about 20% power/pressure. Regardless this tanks sprayer worked great! Check out my review for pics on mounting to a zero turn mower.

Yes you can. The broadcast nozzle is turned on by turning a valve handle and the wand is activated by a thumb control. Once the broadcast nozzle is turned on it will not shut off until you have closed the valve.

This sprayer must be connected to a 12 volt battery to operate. There are battery clamps (similar to those on the end of jumper cables) and a switch provided with the unit. The battery clamps can be attached to the battery in the atv, tractor, or mower that you are mounting the unit on. If you wish you could use a separate battery to power the unit, however if used in this manner, the battery would need to be charged after each use.
