I installed these in my horse barn upside down on the trusses. Unfortunately, most of the air blew on the ground. I added boards on either side of the truss to allow the installation at an angle. This corrected the issue. I love these fans and many of my horse fiends have also purchased them. (I removed 4 box fans and installed 2 of these)

Yes, there's a rotating drive sticking out the bottom, it appears to be a horizontal line just below the motor housing in the side view product pics, you remove the bolt from the eccentric location and reinstall the linkage in the center of the spinning drive. A couple minutes with a wrench and its done.

Details:

Looking for how many degrees the sweep is and if it is fixed or adjustable.

Also is the tilt adjustable? If so, how far up and how far down?

The oscillation sweep on the FlowPro Oscillating Wall Circulator is fixed at approximately 90 degrees. The oscillation can be turned off, but cannot be adjusted. The vertical tilt will have a range of approximately 30 degrees.

30" Oscillating Wall Fan/Circulator Purchased two of these for a horse barn. They Keep the barn air circulated and the horses like them. They may be a little noisy but it does not bother me or my horses. They were somewhat difficult for me to install. I hung them from the barn trusses. The picture looked like this should work however, it did not allow for the fan to be positioned well. Overall... I love them. October 8, 2012

FlowPro Oscillating Wall Fan (30") I puchased the fan for installation on a boathouse/Pier. Unfortunately it makes so much wind noise that it was difficult to talk over. I had it mounted over a picknik table. When turned on, it sounded like a single prop aircraft engine. Consequently I returned it to the nearest Northern store, without any problem. October 10, 2011
