"Used to fan to dry joint compound, paint, grout, and sealants in a closed bathroom third floor renovation. Easy to haul up and down stairs, swivel fan on stand helps with that and putting air where you need it.. It was hellishly hot and humid and the tenants continued taking steamy showers, so, it was important to dry out applications before second coatings, etc. Wish there was a lower quieter setting."

"To start with; the fans were reasonably priced, with prompt shipping. Their function fulfilled my expectations completely: They moved a lot of air and did so quietly. We ran them non-stop for almost two months without a hitch.
What I didn't like about them was very minor but is as follows: 1) They have two speeds and there was not a lot of difference between low speed and hi speed. This was of little consequence because this type of fan is for moving high volume. One speed would have been just fine. We always ran them on high speed. 2) The (provided) plastic hex wrench/driver used to tighten the tilt adjust nut was a little wimpy. They would not tighten the nut enough to keep the tilt in place. In the process of trying we broke most of them. A combination wrench did the job nicely.
In general, these fans are well built and I expect to get years of service out of them."

"My wife bought me this fan for my birthday, and I like it. It really moves a lot of air for a fan it's size. There's only two things I would change. First, it's a lightweight, handy size, so it needs a handle right at top dead center rather than being offset at 3:00 opposite the rollers; it would be easier to just pick it up than to bother rolling it. (I'm going to weld an extra handle on mine). Also, it's a two speed, but there's not a lot of difference between the two speeds. Both are pretty much wide open, and it could have used a third, slower speed for when you don't need gale force winds. Overall a good unit, and I'm enjoying it."
