"I purchased this battery to have a small solar powered backup system for my town home. With a Vector 2500 watt modified sine wave inverter, I am able to power a 32 inch tube style TV, 100 watt lamp, and cable box for 6 hours with no problem. The battery is a perfect fit for my application because it is inside my living room under a table. There are no openings for any dangerous gasses to vent because this type of battery is sealed. The oxygen that is produced from the discharge as well as the hydrogen that is produced from charging is stored inside the battery and recycled over and over again. The battery is very safe for inside use just as the description states. I charge this battery using four fifteen watt solar panels item # 339972 that are regulated by a Sunforce 30 amp digital charge controller item # 336615. This system takes about five days of full sun to recharge this battery. I plan on expanding to more panels when I move to a house and have more room for panel mounting. I have charged and discharged this battery many cycles and it functions like brand new. The terminals are a perfect fit for my cable system and installation was a snap with the included bolts and nuts. I plan on purchasing more of these to expand my system in the future. If deep discharge is prevented (Below 11.4 Volts @ zero load ), this battery should provide many years of service. I generally do not let this battery get below 11.9 volts at zero load. If you need a safe and reliable battery source, I would highly recommend this battery."
