"Absolutely required item for the shop. Especially handy for welding. Only complaint is that the wide round clamp head gets in the way on thinner materials, but that same round head prevents damage to softer materials so pick your poison ;)"

"These clamps are great for the price. Not quite the smooth action you get with Irwin Vise-grips, but still works well and clamps work pieces well. Mine have taken quite a beating - I use them when welding and grinding and they are still going strong. Even slag on the threads didn't stop these clamps - the slag eventually popped off after some working back and forth of the threaded end and the clamps are no worse for it. Good deal!"

"I find that when doing face frame construction and use my Kreg pocket hole joinery system; these swivel headed, non-marring, vice grip clone locking pliers work great to hold wood tight & parallel during assembly. For the great price you get a whole bunch of them!"

"One out of five of the set came with a broken spring. I'm sure I could have exchanged it, but I had the part lying around and it wouldn't have been worth the effort. That aside, these welding clamps lock as affirmatively as any others, and for a fraction of the price. Not top of the line, but good for the cost."

""It is what it is" would be the way I would describe these welding clamps. I bought them just to hold together metal during welding and if they do that for just a few times, still worth the sale cost.
If you want Vise Grip quality, pay for Vise Grips. These aren't, but are definitely a good value."

"Dear purchaser, these clamps are very nice to work with, however, I am use to ones that don’t have the swivel surface on the tips of the clamps. I find that without the added friction of a general clamp tip, these swivel tipped ones need to be placed in the same line of pressure to the items being clamped. When these clamps are used in an off pressure line situation, they have a tendency to slip off the work pieces or roll. These clamps feel and work just like ViseGrip and for the price you can’t beat them… So suggested fix, remove the swivel tip or weld the tip perpendicular to the attachment arm. Great clamp though."

"These locking pliers were an excellent purchase, We just finished building a 48ft x 48ft garage at our camp that we call 3M WOODS , We used the pliers to hold the metal roof in line until we could put the screws in place. Thank You."
