"What a piec of junk. It won't hold a charge for over a week; it's brightness isn't half of what I get from a different brand and vendor's 6.5 million candle power spotlight; and it was 4 times the price of the 6.5mcp light.
Don't waste your money; it isn't worth 1/4 of the cost."

"or the Jolly Green Giant's.... when my dogs started barking at what they thought were creatures in the woods, i wanted to see what they were getting excited about.

this is one HECK of a "flashlight"! one of the first times i used it, i spotted a red fox in the woods.

i'd recommend this spotlight for both fun and emergency use. no, it won't fit in the glove box of your car, but for camping it could be a life-saver. well-made and incredibly bright! point it upwards in rainy or snowy weather for an extra light-show treat!"

"I bought this for my father-in-law who raises sheep and needed a light around the farm for general use and for in the field or barn use when lambing. This light is very well made, super bright, not too heavy and the stands on the bottom work well.

Overall he's pretty happy with it."

"I just have to say that this light the awsoem for the prices. The build quality i great. I also have the black version of this light and I do get the claimed 55 minute burn time. I have read that the yellow version does have some issues. I have the McCulloh HID hand held search light and I have to say that it's slightly brighter than this one but then again the McCulloh cost me $400.

Bang for the buck this is the one to get..."

"These other reviewers appear to have bought the older yellow version of this spotlight back in 2008 which had two power switches. I just bought the newer design pictured here in black and gray in late 2009--it has one power switch and two plug in points for recharge. This new design is clearly a lot like the Sunforce sister product 40,000,000 candlepower floodlight. As far as I'm concerned their 25,000,000 cp spotlight is a great one! The construction quality is high, the beam visibility and throw is just astounding, it's got room inside for access and custom modification if you should ever want to, the reflector is very well made and perfectly polished, the lamp is dead-centered to throw an absolutely perfect round spot for miles (see the unretouched photograph I took of the beam the first night I took it out of the shipping box). When I set this thing up vertically on my car and bring anyone outside to see the beam, they all immediately yell out "Wow!!!" and then voice concern about the infinite tree trunk of white-blue light upsetting air traffic! For some reason when aiming straight up, the beam looks just enormous. This spotlight will put a spot on certain overhead clouds in the right conditions. I consider this possibly the most affordable high powered portable spotlight available that employs xenon HID technology."

"Not a bad light. Not really 25 million candlepower though. There is a lot of controversy on how they rate these lights as far as candlepower goes. Build quality is sufficient and there are two switches but I can only firgure out what one of them does. Run time is 40mins on mine. Overall the light is probably brighter than most home users have ever seen in a household light. It is also neat how it's HID technology like the lights on new luxury cars so it's a little bit different type color with that bluish tone. I think this light is not the best value in home spotlights as far as price but if you are looking for a HID rather than conventional there is not a whole lot of options."

Not what it should be.,

"I purchased this 25,000,000 candle power spot light because I needed something very bright that ran on its own rechargeable batteries. When I removed it from the packing, I noticed that there was no brand name; I consider that a warning.

I gave it a full charge and turned it on to see how long it would run; it turned itself off after only 30 minutes. ??? I recharged it again for 24 hours, but it only ran for 30 minutes as it did before; not the 55 minutes claimed in the description.

I already had a 3,000,000 candle power 12VDC plug-in tungsten for my truck, and I thought "wow ... 8 times brighter". Wrong! ... it does not appear to be more than about twice as bright as far as lighting up something at a distance goes. The spot color was more white than the yellowish light I get from the plug-in spot light.

This spot light physical size is huge, and it is about twice the dimensions as my plug-in spot light. The switches (there are two) are on one side, and they are easy to get to. However, they are so exposed that the thing is apt to be turned on by accident if the spot light is stored or packed amount other items. ... not good."

The spotlight is rated by the manufacturer at 25 million candle power. On a full charge the light will operate 55 minutes, you may lose some brightness during the last few minutes.
