"This is a perfect tool for getting small (up to 18" dia.) trees down, that are hung up using the peeve part.. I haven't used the lever part. Mine came painted gray with gray handle--Hnt: paint it all bright red. A great investment."

"works great,price was even better the hardwear store down the street has the same thing for more than twice as much and it payed for it self in two days know i can roll big logs with no problem and no more hitting the dirt with my chain saw."

"After watching a professional in a video use a felling lever to help remove a "hung up tree" I knew I had to have one. After looking at several forestry and arborist websites that sell felling levers I found this one at a significantly lower price than anywhere else. Other site also sell longer levers than the 31" model but if you need a lever longer than this, you're doing it wrong, use wedges instead. The cant hook for twisting is very helpful also. Good bar at a great price."

"Great sturdy tool is useful for felling trees. Have used the lever in combination with wedges on moderately large trees with undesirable lean. When making the rest of the backcut, someone horses on the lever and the tree drops where you (and your hinge point) want it. Handy tool that I'm really glad to have."

"Had never used one before, but will use one from now on. Great for manipulating logs on the grounds, can use it as a timberjack as well. Heavy duty but small in size so its easy to carry into the woods. Havent needit it so free a bound saw yet, but I'm confident that it will work with ease."
