Vogelzang Grate for Deluxe Boxwood Stove - Model# 26G
Great grate what else is there to say about a grate

The one I bought before two years ago was approx. 40% bigger at about the same price. If this grate is made for the barrel stove kit, I would have hoped it would be a bit bigger to cover the space in the barrel better. So now I will need to add some iron to it to hold a larger amount of wood.

Placed the new grate in my wood stove as soon as it arrived, replacing the damaged melted grate. The new grate held the wood perfectly off of the wood stove bottom and allowed air to circulate up through the wood so as to burn well. The wood stove gave off good heat. Hopefully this grate will last a long time. It should. This grate is a great grate and I would greatly recommend it to anyone with a similar style wood burning stove who needed a new grate.

This grate makes my new boxwood stove much easier to maintain a controlled fire. Its made so it can be easily removed for cleaning the ash from the stove.

Grate for Boxwood Stove
In all the sites I have checked, Northern Tool is the best on price, shipping and availabitlity. The item came in quickly, in excellent condition and seems very sturdy. It fit my wood stove perfectly.

warranrteed one no good either
We bought 1 for our wood stove which we use to heat the patio similar to a fire pit. The first 1 warped within 2 uses. Northern Tool sent us a new one and paperwork to send the other 1 back. This 1 warped after the first night of use and has only been used 3 times total.
Perhaps from having the stove outside it is tougher but likely a poor quality product that can't handle the heat that it is made for. Absolutely do not recommend it.

We have a remote cabin with an old Woodsman stove in it. The stove worked fine, but would not be able to completely burn wood and coal as the circulation was poor after burning for a few hours. Being an odd size, it was hard to find a grate that would work. With no sides, this is perfect. The stove now burns hotter and more efficently. For a stove that has a "stepped front" it is just the ticket.
