Mounting Bracket
I was apprehensive about buying this product as there was no information about this bracket mounting to a new 7 HP Kohler engine. It did fit the engine and the pump perfectly. The only reservations I have is that it's made of plastic not cast steel and I'm not sure how long it will hold up on my wood splitter. I would have given it an excellent rating if it were made of cast steel.

Good Fit, Delivered as Promised
This adapter fit my hydraulic pump just as it said it would and married up to the engine, just as it said it would. Can't get better than this. Delivered as promised. I would recommend this product marry a hydraulic pump to a small engine.

This mounting bracket is perfect when building a log splitter along with the other components, couplings, bolt kits, etc. They fit with NO modifications, I wish I had bought them when I first built my splitter, it would have saved me time and money.

haldex hydraulic pump mounting bracket
the hydraulic pump mounting bracket was a direct fit and is much more durable than the oem bracket that is on the log splitter that that i installed it on

sturdy
I was hesitant about this being plastic/synthetic but I am so far pretty impressed. Seems very sturdy. mounted right up to my pump on my log splitter. I have only used it for a few minutes but I don't for see any problems. I do think it is a little spendy.

Pump Mounting Bracket
This bracket is very lightweight, but works great with no problems! I didn't realize it was a composite plastic until it came, but it worked great anyway!

Great item
I almost didn't purchase this because it isn't constructed of metal, and I am glad I did get it as it is plenty heavy duty. I figured I could build one myself out of metal for next to nothing, but I was short on time so I got it. All of the bolt holes and flanges lined up perfectly and I wouldn't consider building one after using this product.

Pump Mount
I changed from a verticle shaft engine to a horizontal, 10 minutes and the pump was mounted! I was going to make my own bracket, but why go thru the brain damage getting it to line up. Fit my Robin 6hp. No reason to look for anything else, this does the job.

This mount fit good and bolted right up. It is very lightweight but still stiff.

Makes assembly far easier
When I purchased this bracket to mount a 5 hp Honda engine to a Halex 11 GPM
pump I was somewhat concerned that things might not work as advertised. My
concerns were nullified when I talked with a very nice and very knowledge lady
on Northern's order line; she knew the product and all the parameters. You
normally don't find that level of service and expertise. I bought the bracket, a
perfect fit, couldn't be more pleased.
