Decent box for the money,

"Recieved the toolbox quickly and in excellent condition. Box was much lighter than I expected due to how thin the metal is (very light guage). That is the only complaint I have, the material is so thin it "dents" very easy. I mounted this box in the rear of my Jeep to store supplies. It fit perfect and has so far worked well but only time will tell how durable it is."

"Fits well in my sons Ford Edge Ranger. Going back and forth from college in the Northeast it keeps all his gear dry. I used ratchet straps to keep it in place at first, which is doable. We decided to make it more permanent and bolted it to the inside front of the pick up bed. The recessed hinged top has plenty of clearance and does not hit the cab when open. The two gas shocks keeps the top open when filling or unloading. With the good welds and sturdy lockable latch I believe this chest will last a long time. Another note... my Son said he gets a lot of complements on the shiny diamond plate, so it looks good too."

Just for show,

"If you plan on using your new tool box, this is not the one for you. Within 3 weeks the welds on both gas shocks broke so the lid had no support . The latch will not hold the lid without shutting the lid several times. Bottom line - if you are looking for a box that looks nice and shiny in the back of your truck, this one will do just fine. However, if you plan on using it, I would not recommend it. Would not have given it 1 star but that is as low as it goes."
