"I have now bought two of these, one for each pickup, and I am planning on buying a 3rd one for the flatbed trailer. It is great for us old guys who still "do it ourselves". I have easily unloaded firewood, gravel, sand, manure, compost, and topsoil. It is absolutely a wonder and really keeps you from overdoing it on the back and arms."

"Generally, I am very pleased with the operation of the cargo unloader. It is important for anyone interested in it to purchase the mat that goes with the unit if they have any kind of bed liner in their truck such as Rhino liner. The unloader needs an absolutely smooth surface on the bed to work. I used it to unload 10-15 loads of horse manure, gravel and limestone and it definitely saved me time. One other gotcha is if you have a cap on your tailgate such as those that come factory from GM on their Silverado trucks. The cap will have to be removed before installing the load handler. This is somewhat of a pain but worth it if you have a lot of material to unload. Also, be sure not to overload the bed. When I completely filled the bed with manure, I still had to unload about 1/3 of the load by hand before the unloader would work. It worked perfectly fine with up to 1,000 pounds of stone."

"Because my husband had previously injured his back, although it is fine now we didn't want to take any chances. We bought a load handler so that it would be easier to get the wood out of the back of the truck after it was split. It works like a dream no more climbing into the back of the truck to get the wood and throw it out and then have to pick it up and stack it. He just cranks it to the tail gate and takes it from there on more bending over to pick up the wood."
