Reliable Rubber Torsion Axle Suspension Units
Will never have leaf springs again
I built a small trailer to haul luggage on long road trips using 2000 torsion half axles and was surprised by the difference in ride between torsion and leaf suspension. They act like they have built-in shock absorbers. Add to that the independent movement of the wheels and you get a trailer that pulls like a dream. I have since over-loaded 2500# on the trailer to load test it and pulled it at highway speeds for 45 miles with no difficulty.

single torsion axle
This brand of axles are easy to assemble with the bearings and seals fitting correctly (no loose fits). I found it easy to install and line up on the axle. They seem to handel the rated load on a rough road and pulls straight down the highway. Good product.

rubber torsion axle suspension units
I used rubber torsion axles to replace broken leaf springs on a utility trailer. They are very easy to install; I squared them to the frame and with each other and welded them on, but they could also be u-bolted to the frame. I have a good ride hight and the trailer pulls great, even empty on rough roads.

I can lower my trailer using these axle less axles using hydraulics so my trailer is flush with the ground. No need for ramps!. I love it. A lot safer than ramps
