Lot of Pump,

"The Delavan Turbo 90 is a lot of pump. It works great at pumping large volumes of liquid and can even handle wetable powders. A couple of things to be aware of though. You will need at least 20 HP on your tractor to get the pump to perfrom. Thirty or forty would be better. But, most important, you will need a 1,000 rpm PTO. On my tractor that means I have to maintain 2,200 rrpm. Anything less than that and the pump simply will not work. It's not self priming, which is no problem if your tank is above the pump. My tank mounted to a carrier attached to the 3 point so it is always above the pump and priming is not an issue. You can do some serious spraying with the pump!"

"A pump simple and heavy duty I could attach to the tractor and pump water into a tank from a clear flowing creek an have plenty of water to irrigate . But once it arrived I found there were other parts i had to order besides the obvious hoses. it need a special six spline shaft attachment for the PTO and
a key for the shaft and a chain system hooked up to keep it from turning .

Well, Unfortunately its not advertised on NT as a NON-self priming pump,
so with pipe fittings and an elevated "prime tank" i rigged a sources of water to flow into it as the PTO turns the shaft. With a 65hpJD I have plenty of torque
But it will not pump water. only a trickle ever made it in the tank and that was probably water from the prime tank. I even tried filling the inlet hose with water AND
using the prime tank but I'm stumped how it will ever pump all the water it claims to pump. I guess i'll be trying to see if i can return it."
