Splicing beats twisting wires,

"See my review of the other splice tubes. You need both sizes to splice a horse fence as the big ones do the top and bottom and the smaller ones do all the other fence lines. Basically, as the review title says, splicing beats twisting timewise and, as far as we can tell after a year, in endurance. We had a tree fall on a spliced fence and the splices held (the fence tore at another point). We'll keep buying these tubes as long as we have wire fencing to install."
