Lawn and Garden Tractor Tubeless Replacement Turf Tire - 20 x 10 x 8
A Good Tire
I had purchased a couple of "Kenda - Lawn and Garden Tractor Tubeless Replacement Turf Tire — 20 x 10 x 8", to replace the Carlisle Tires that originally came with my Craftsman Lawn Tractor. I always had problems with the Carlisle Tires holding air. I tightened the air valve stems, replaced caps, and had them remounted by a mechanic in my area. Still these tires leaked air and were flat by the next time I needed to cut the grass.
I purchased the Kenda tires because of the reasonable price and their high customer rating and I liked the way they looked.
When I received the tires, I had them mounted and after couple of weeks, they're still holding air. They give a nice ride on my tractor and I'm very happy I made this purchase.
I'm so satisfied with the tires, I'm now looking to replace my front tires.
I would definitely recommend these tires to anyone.

I have a Cub Cadet 2155 that I bought on 3/97 with rear tires 20x9x8 that are no longer available/affordable. I have dealt with Northern over 20+years and found the 20x10x8 Kenda from Taiwan at a good price. Mounted it and found the only difference is a little higher tire and tread area wider. Neither of these affect the operation of the tractor/mower. I also bought tires for my 10c.f. garden trailer and a front tire for the Cub several years ago with the same satisfaction. Thank you Northern.

I replaced the turf tires on my garden tractor which were shot. Since replacement I have had no flat tires even though I mow our 2 1/2 acres over blackberries and wild roses. This tire is better than the orgional. I do not use a tube. highly lrecommend it for a replacement tire.

Looked for this tire, could not find it except one lawn shop, they wanted $89. for it. I ordered it from Northern and received it within 6 days, very happy with the product, and will order another one in the next few weeks for the other side. Good Service from this company, will continue to use them. Thanks.

Lawn and Garden Tractor Tire
After looking and calling around the local area nobody stocked this size tire, and only a few people could order one in. Those that could order one wanted around 3 times the price that Northern Tool wanted. I wasn't too thrilled with the idea of ordering the tire without seeing one first, especially since the price made me think it might be poor quality, but after receiving the tire I was very happy. The tire mounted easily in about 5 minutes with basic tools (pry bars and soapy water), looks great, and holds air! I immediately ordered a second tire to match. A bonus: The new tires grip my lawn a lot better than the old tires did. I'm no longer spinning up the turf on the small inclines!
The only problem I ran in to was in seating the tire on the bead. The tires that I received looked like they had something stacked on them so the tire was a bit flattened (the beads were close together). It took a few blasts of air and a bit of wiggling around to get both beads to seat on the rim at the same time.
If you need this size tire I can definitely recommend it. Inexpensive, good quality, and shipped quickly!

This product was worth shopping around for! Northern's price was considerably lower than the home center's or lawn and garden place. It is performing well on my machine and I expect to get several years worth of service from it. The wait was the only problem, as it is ground shipped and not postal. I live in the rural US, so I wait for things ordered alot. The selection of tires carried by Northern is good and easy to find in the online catalog.
