"I recieved this product in a timely manor. It was very easy to put together and I had to new axle install in under an hour. The option of mounting the axle over or under the springs was a nice option. The 2000 axle I rate as a five on all aspects."

"This axle kit got me back on the road again but was more work than I had planned on but I was able to get it done. The only thing I did not like was the caps that covered the bearings, they did not fit."

The things that you will need to match to make any given axle work for your application are the following:

1.) Weight capacity
2.) Track length
3.) Spring center distance
4.) spring length
5.) straight or drop axle
6.) spring type
7.) Trailer brakes or not.

The closest spring center measurement that we offer to your 58 1/2" frame is 58". That is item # 12430. To properly size an axle, we will need the following information:
1.) Desired track length
2.) Required weight capacity
3.) Spring length
4.) lug pattern.
5.) overslung or underslung
once we have this information we will be able to look for an axle that suits your needs.

are the spring centers adjustable or are the fixed at 48"

Details:

I have a small ez loader boat trailer for a 14 aluminum boat and it has 2" square solid axle with spindles on the end . the spring centers are at 36' and the total axle length is about56-60 inches. this axle looks like it will work but I need to move the spring centers closer to 36' . I just need to know if the springs are adjustible because I need the whole setup thanks Frank
