"This product operated just exactly as described in its specifications. I use it for powering my travel trailer in the mountains. I use it in conjunction with deep discharge marine batteries and an AC converter. The system is used to power a small electric refrigerator and lights. Much quieter and cheaper to operate than the previous gas powered generator I used. Obviously doesn't work without sun, so on days of inclement wearther, I sometimes still have to fire up the generator."

Solar Saves the Day,

"We had an application where alarm systems needed to be put in place in new model homes months before power would be available to the development. They worked well, and when packaged with the included charge controller installation was pretty srtaight forward. We have four of these kits in service with two more going in shortly.

I would have liked to see a different longer pigtail on the panels. I would like it if the attached pigtail was longer and had a heavy black overall jacket as its not always possible to mount the panels where you can keep the wires out of the sunlight. The shortness of the pigtail leaves you having to make a splice under the panel where it could be exposed to heavy weather. I use a weatherproof splice kit designed for telephone applications, but this would not be available to the average users.

I would like to see a clearer explanation of connection chronology for the load controllers, and for optimum mounting and mounting angle for the panels.
