Glue doesn't hold under heat,

"Have had the seats for 1 day. San Diego temp around 90 and the seats are coming apart where they are glued to the plastic back (frame). Touched the glue, like honey, hard to wash off - tacky. They look good, but only will stay together in Alaska. (Does the temp. in Alaska get to 90??)"

"I ordered and recieved the gator seat in just a little over a week. Much faster than I thought. The seat is built to spec and mounted with no difficulty or alterations. The seat fit so well that I will be ordering a lawn mower seat for my "JD" mower. I would recommend this seat to anyone that has worn out gator seats."

Works great even on non-gator series Tractor,

"i installed this on a 5105 4wd tractor, bottom bolt holes lined up perfectly, and for the back two, which this didn't have drilled, I lined up and drilled installing the two unused mounts from the bottom. Seat cushion is easily removable, four screws and some silicone/glue hold it down. Works great and looks just as good as the 300 dollar factory replacement. Whole proccess took less than 30 min. The base is even stamped the exact size to drill out for the auto-shutoff switch if needed/wanted.

NOTE: USE 5/16 Bolts not the old metric ones."

Gator replacement seats,

"Purchased one for JD Gator CX to see if it fit. It fit perfectly. Seat bolts on newer models are 3" x 7 1/2". Fits perfectly. It would have been nice for the manufacture to label bolt size to avoid using metric (old bolts) vs 5/16NC bolts (needed for replacement), minor issue for me but could stripe bolt holes in replacement seat if metric are used! Only other problem is the new seats are bright, clean, shiny new yellow seat, doesn't match the old faded and cracked other seat that I didn't replace! Guess I have to wait till they go on sale again!"

A fine substitute,

"This seat is a fine substitute for the original. The original seats on my older Deere 4x6 Gator were splitting. Dealer prices were absurd, so I ordered two of these for a much better price after reading favorable reviews. The only hitch in installing them was that the holes in the bottom of the seats did not line up with my brackets. Fortunately I have a drill press and it was very easy to drill two holes in each bracket. Thanks to previous reviewers who alerted me about standard bolts that are required instead of the original metric bolts.

The seats are comfortable. They have good lumbar support and are more upright than the originals, which at first makes for a slightly cramped feeling for tall drivers. Within a few rides I didn't feel any problem. I have owned these 10 days now, and it appears they will hold up well. I would give 5 stars if there had been some kind of universal mounting system so that I did not have to drill holes."

The bolt pattern is 7 1/2 by 3 inches, the threads are not meteric (like the bolts taken out of old seats) and need to be replaced (5/16 NC) to match new seat. DON'T use old ones, it will destroy new threads.

This seat does not go by make/model. You will want to go by the mounting patterns.
*:BOLT PATTERN OF 7-1/2" APART SIDE TO SIDE , 3" APART FRONT TO BACK SET 3" BACK FROM FRONT EDGE AND 4-1/2" FROM SIDE EDGE.
*ITEM USES 5/16"-18 TPI BOLTS

Not sure, I doubt it though. The Gator seat is very application specific and has a plastic pan. I think the tractor seat has a metal pan and different mounting points.

We can't tell you if it will fit but I can give you the bolt pattern so you can check it out and see if it will work.

BOLT PATTERN OF 7-1/2" APART SIDE TO SIDE , 3" APART FRONT TO
BACK SET 3" BACK FROM FRONT EDGE AND 4-1/2" FROM SIDE EDGE.
USES 5/15"-18 TPI BOLTS .
