"I use these file mostly for wood work, but also for sharping my mower, and other blades. They work well both on metal and wood. The case is a little cheap, but for the price I can live with that."

"finally I have a set of files that do almost everything. I have been using my father's old file for years and really didn't know how well a good sharp file could perform. Handles are comfortable and stay in place, not like the wooden ones that fell off no matter how hard you hammered them on. Thanks for a nice product!"

"The Northern Industrial Files — 17-Pc. Set is great with its large variety of shapes and coarseness. I use this set mainly for wood working and having the included cleaning brush is great. The only down fall is the brush and needle files do not store in the included pouch."
