Sno-Knife
My wife and I have a couple of cabins located in the Elkhorn Mountains of NE Oregon. I purchased a Sno-Knife over two years ago in order to remove roof snow. The cabin roofs are metal roofs and the tool works great and in fact I just ordered a Sno-Knofe for a neighbor as he was so impressed with the way that mine performed. Great Product and it is made in the USA/

snow removal
I have used the Sno Knife for the last two winters. We have two homes. One in northern Wisconsin and another in southern Wisconsin. The winters the last two years have been brutal with lot's of snow. Our primary residence is a farm with lots of out buildings. I don't know what I would do without the Sno Knife? It works fantastic for all types of roofs and is just amazing. The person who invented it must be a genious! Such a simple idea and it works great. I have tried "other" snow removal devices and nothing works as good as the Sno Knife! I wish I would have invented it!
I would only recommend this product for removing snow off your roof.

Sno-Knife
Purchased one for relatives in the UP... They love it, "neighbors want to use all the time". Much better than the rake! Better have plenty on stock if we have another winter like last!!!

Snow-Knife
I purchased the Snow-Knife two years ago and it works great, better than a snow rake. The Snow-Knife doesn’t damage my roof, shingles or gutters. The Snow-Knife actually helps lift the snow up & over the top of my gutters so I won’t pull them down. It may seem flimsy if you use extra connections to reach higher but it really holds up. It only took me 30 minutes to get the hang of using it, I give it an A++++ for snow removal.

snow slider
Does not work well on wet or packed snow. Tends to go over the top. Handle very hard to get together first time.

Good, but....
This product works quite well as long as you use it frequently. If you don't, the snow will become too crusted on top which makes it almost impossible to get the Sno-Knife through that hard crusted layer. However, I have found that if I commit to using the Sno-Knife each time it snows, it works very well and it is much safer on your shingles than a rake. It is also much less laborious to use than a rake because the snow simply slides off the roof rather than having to pull it off the roof with a rake. I recommend the product but be prepared to use it often, not just when the snow gets heavy on the roof.

Sno-Knife works as intended
Considered buying a snow rake but after borrowing a neighbors rake, I realized that using the rake was not an easy job. Found the Sno-Knife, read the positive reviews and decided it was worth a try. Very easy to use as it doesn't have to be lifted up and down like using a rake. The 12" of snow came off the roof very easily. It was more to clear the "downed" snow from the driveway than it was from the roof. Highly recommended.

Better than a rake
The Sno-Knife pulls down more snow with a lot less work than a rake. You wedge it up under the snow and the slab slides off. Easy to assemble, easy to use.
