Great little compressor but heavy
This little compressor packs a lot into a small package. With two outputs and twin tanks you can keep two nailers going all day.
I bought it primarily for running a nailer to nail trim after a flooring project. It was more than adequate, cycling only infrequently.
The owner's manual in my opinion is a bit inadequate as it leaves out the detail about the air filter. Maybe it's just me but I couldn't immediately figure out where to put it. Then I saw the plastic cap that I had to remove. Once you've done that, just fill up on compressor oil (included) plug in and go. You can adjust the regulator pressure quite easily with the knob on the front.
The biggest problem with this, probably the only major issue is that it's heavy, so it's not easy to carry around. But that's not really a big deal for me.

Great Compressor
This thing is great. It is quiet enough to carry on a conversation while it is running. Strong enough to run an air impact if needed (although it cycles a lot when doing so) Also, it will run just fine on a 15 amp circuit. The only con to this unit is that it is heavy. I've carried it up and down stairs a few times and while it is doable, I wouldn't want to do so more very often.

Great compressor
I use this compressor for general garage use, tire inflation and air tools, and nail guns. It never has any issues keeping up with my demands. However it is very heavy and awkward to move around for a portable compressor. if you like to move your portable around the MAC5200 may be a better choice. I have purchased a small hand truck but it is even more awkward to pick up with it attached to the hand truck. It you just want to put it on a shelf or in the corner this is the one.

no wheels
A great air compressor don't get me wrong, but its not very mobile it should come with a dolly or something...

Poorly Constructed
I have several small compressors like this one out in the field. This was the first one out of the shop when one of the guys had a choice of machines to grab.
Today I was on a job and heard a noise coming from the unit on shutdown. After looking at it the casing of the compressor itself was broken in three places. Two of the mounting bolts were missing and the casting of the compressor motor was broken in both places.
I've submitted it to Northern Tool for replacement. Perhaps I just got a bad one but it's really inconvenient to be down a unit while we're busy.

Excellent Compressor
I have owned this compressor for 3+ years now. It works great and I have never had a problem with it. The rubber feet help with vibrations and noise. This week I will be using it to stain (I bought the spray gun too) 240 feel of stockade fence.... I will let you know how it goes.
I am very happy with this compressor

Great Product
Very impressed with the quality construction and how quite it is. If you are looking for a garage shop unit this is it. If you are using light volume air tools like nailers this unit is fine, for high volume tools like grinders / sanders need a larger unit. For what it is designed for this unit has worked flawless and does not trip a 15A breaker.

quiet and powerful
I have owned this compressor for 1 year now, and only use it occassionally, but I am always happy at how quiet it is, and that it can run on any 15A circuit. I use it to top off tires, even blow up and seat new motorcycle tires that I mount.

Nice small unit for small work
This unit is fine if applied as it was intended for - portable or stationary air needs for small work. This unit is fine as a general pressurized air supply for cleaning/blowing small electrical equipment; filling tires, etc Don't expect to use this with any air tools as the small tanks do not provide sufficient volume for any respectable sized air tool - however, air brushing is OK if you don't mind listening to the compressor. Noise wise, this is a bit noiser than it needed to be - even for a reciprocating compressor - but they are all noisy anyway.

Best Air Compressor
I have used up many air compressors over the years. This one is the best I have found! Quiet, powerful and won't blow a 15 amp circuit! What more could you ask for.
