"I installed this fan over a crawl space vent very easily. This little fan moves a lot of air and seems to significantly reduce the moisture content of my crawl space.

The only con is that is has a slight whine that can be heard in the room above it, but you either have to listen for it or know about it in order to really notice. I can hear it, but my wife can't tell, so I guess that's all that matters."

"I purchased two of these (1 V2D and 1 V1D) to help move some air in my crawl space. They seem to be built pretty sturdy. Installation was fairly simple too. I can hear the noise from the v2d if the house is DEAD silent but if there's any other noise then you can't hear it. I had to put my ear to the floor to hear the V1D running. It really does move air well. I tested this by placing pieces of paper against other foundation vents and the draft from the fans pulled the paper up against all of them. However, the fans didn't fix my humidity problems under the house. It was old duct work causing the issue. In hindsight, I wish I had a switch in the house somewhere for these. I'd recommend wiring these to a switch that is easily accessible because you don't want these running when its raining or at least I didn't."

This unit will actually cover 3300 cubic feet, you can multiply the length, width, and height of the room and if this equals 3300 or less this ventilator will accommodate your needs.
