"In response to Katrina, our Church responded every weekend for over six months to cities all across the Gulf Coast. That's where I was introduced to this particular model of chain sharpner. On any given weekend, this handy tool sharpened an average of 70 chains at most of the key center locations. All sizes, lengths, and brands. I never heard a single complaint on the finished product. I saw them powered by utility power, generators, and even one with a DC inverter connected to a truck battery. From what I saw in the field, I realized it was time for me to have one at home. Price was right & delivery prompt. Thanks, Northern!"

"This is a poor product with a poor design. Center tolerance is horrendous. Almost immpossable to sharpen both sides evenly. This product should be taken off the market."

"This sharpener works well and is easy to put together.I haven't had it too long so I don't know how long the stone will last but for me I can't imagine finding anything better! Just set the degree or angle to sharpen and you are good to go. It is faster and more acurate than manual sharpeners, incredible value for the price!"

"This inexpensive tool performs just as advertised. It came on time and I was able to unpack, setup, and start sharpening in a reasonable time based on the instructions.
Once setup, sharpening chains is a breeze and I was able to sharpen three chains within 15-20 minutes.

"Easy to set up and easy to use. less one star, because need to be caution when changing chain side. Be sure that it is centered properly, so both sides will sharpen evenly. I would definately recommend this product for the average person, who needs to properly sharpen their saws. Good price, for a decent product."

"This sharpener works great.It has already paid for itself.It is simple to setup and use and you get the same angle every time.The chains cut very well.It could stand some improvements,but for the price I can deal with the minor flaws.Fixed up my hand filed chains and I could see then how much I was off.This keeps all your links the same length which I like also.For the price and the savings from not paying to have chains sharpened I give this an A+.I wish I would have gotten one of these a long time ago.If you can take your chain off and reinstall it yourself then you can handle this sharpener."

"If you have used a file to sharpen your saw chains you will have no problem with this. Setting the sharpener up for the chain you are going to sharpen will com easy. After this you just buss through it. Would have purchased one along time ago if I had known how easy it was to operate."

"The product looks cheap at first glance--directions leave one with questions but overall after assembling product and trying it out for first time I could not be more pleased. Although directions for assembly are a bit misleading by taking your time and not hurrying the results are amazing. I took old beat up chainsaw blades and by following simple sharpening directions I came out with chainsaw teeth that are as good or better than new teeth. It takes me an average of 5 to 10 minutes to sharpen a chainsaw. I would recommend this product to anyone."
