Good press for the money.
Purchased this to press bearings in and out of small engine housings. Has plenty of power for the job. Gave it a good rating because there is some side to side play in the ram frame that hangs on the springs that can make tight jobs a little tougher to maintain alignment. Also, the two press plates that accompany the unit are painted black and very slippery.
I will be doing some minor modifications to correct the above mentioned but in all, it is a good press, does the job I need, and does not take up a lot of room in the shop. It is not a full height press, so you will be working on your knees or a short stool.
I would definitely recommend the press as it has been a time saver for me. Phil

12 ton shop press
1st off there wasn't a display in the store (or I never would have purchased this press)
I'm 6'2" and I would have to get on my knees to use this thing! Seriously it looks like a toy my 3yr old could use! I had to build a 36" inch table to put it on, just to be eye level..
Not tall enough for use with axles. etc...
Has a bad problem of walking sideways while in heavy press due to unsturdy frame!
Gave it away and bought a bigger one!

Good press for the price
I got this press a little while ago. Made in China, but it's easy to assemble, and it feels pretty sturdy for a 12 Ton.
The feet have holes, so I put some casters on to make it easy to move around my garage. I haven't done any real work with it, but I bent some scrap metal around and it seems to work well.
Good size too, it doesn't take up a whole lot of room in my already full garage.
It was truck shipped to my house and didn't require lift gate service, it can be unloaded from the truck by hand.

Great value
I bought this press almost 3 years ago when it was priced at just over $100. Given the price of metals these days, I'm not surprised to see where it's priced now. Still a good value. It's pretty stout and well-built. I bought it to press out suspension bushings on my truck and have since used it for many other projects. Does the job well. My only gripe would be that it's a bit on the short side, and I'm tall (6'3"). I've thought about constructing some sort of base to raise it up a foot or so but haven't gotten around to it yet. I'd buy it again without a second thought.

Great Tool at a Great Price
I have had my press for 3 years and you cannot wear it out. I use it for gun smithing and it is perfect for pressing barrels.

Small shop press
Got this a few years ago to press new bearings into the rear suspension on our Ford Exploder. Works great. Have found that I didn't know how much I needed this tool until I owned one.

Great for the price
I bought this hydralic press two years ago and i never looked back. It does everything i need it to do from pressing bushings and bearings to removing worn parts that would be hard to remove manual by using hammers and wrenches. I love the ranch it has for adjusting to do bigger jobs by pulling the pins and moving the center beam up and down. I also use it as a clamp to hold parts while i work on them. For the price this is a great tool to have around the house for mechanical and maintenence jobs.

Good home shop press
This press is suitable for working on autos or small tractors. It provides enough strength to separate corroded parts when used with a penetrating solvent and works well to replace bearings and seals.

good for bike work
bought this press for bike work, specifically to press the stem out of a harley lower triple tree, worked great, press rod is the exact size to fit in the triple tree hole. install instructions suck, but just look at the assembled pic and you will figure it out. I tightened all the bolts after its was all together and it sets flush with the garage floor. will have many uses on a bike and 12 ton was more than enough to press out the stem... overall I was impressed for the money...
