Watersource Drive Cap - 2in.
total waste of money
bought the 2" drive point, 2" drive cap and 2" couplers. The drive point works ok, the drive couplers are great, but the drive cap busted in the first 2 hits (only lasted 10 seconds) there is no possible way this drive cap will help with anything except lighten your wallet. I ended up just cutting and threading a couple extra 1' lengths of 2" pipe to use as a drive "cap" and smashing them until they broke. In my opinion this worked much better, would have cost much less, and helped keep the threads from the rest of the pipe extensions from damage. If I had my arc welder at the time I would have welded a nice thick chunk of metal on top of the scrap 1' lengths for better results and less bits of metal falling down the pipe. Take all precautions on not messing up the threads of the good pipe (this is why I used the short 1' sections on top).

I used the product in sandy soil and found it cracked after about fifteen minutes.

maybe for soft material
I was using this on a two inch drive point, it cracked and bent the drive point. I was using it in an arid dry area but we had sounding of water at between 20 and 30 feet. I can swing a sledge hammer with a lot of force but I feel that it should not have cracked in the manner it did. If You are using it is soft material it might work with the drive point quite well
