"Purchased this unit for use in our shop to evacuate fluids from vehicles. The assortment of extensions allows you to gain access to nearly any fluid cavity and the size of the tank means the suction does not fall off very fast. Very handy to have. The only thing I would like to see is a tank drain added."

"Bought to use for removing oil from the sump of a diesel Onan generator. After running the generator for 15 minutes to make the oil more more fluid, I was able to extract the oil (15w-40) in less than 2 minutes as described. The changer does not lose any vacuum pressure until the oil is empty in the sump. The several lengths of dipstick insertion line are well selected as we have been able to match an included length to all of the dipsticks in the items where we have tried the changer so far. Works terrific and have used it on 3 vehicles in my fleet in addition to the gen-sets."

"I have a motorcycle service shop and have found this Northern Air operated Oil Changer is a real time saver. I also attend motorcycle events where I have offered oil changes from a trailer and this 8-gallon model has preformed well not to mention it is a clean procedure as compared to traditional methods of changing oil.
I do wish it included spare O rings for the extractor tubes which is minor but for the price you can not find a better unit."

"I use the more expensive units at the shop and purchased this one for use at home and for service calls and it works flawless. If the oil is warm, no problem. If not, it might take a while, just leave it and go do something else. I have seen 4 of these units in the field the last couple of years and they are great."

"It works great if the oil is warm it really is a great product. But make sure you are getting one with metal caps I have three and two came with plastic caps and they have both broke."

"Having purchased 3 of these I must say they work great & are extremely easy to operate.We have a yard so we pressurize the tanks & roll them out where needed.Depending on vehicle & amounts of fluids sometimes one charge will drain 3 cooling systems.Oils & heavier fluids work best when warmed up, but that is stated in the ad.Only draw back is manual draining of unit.Hopefully you'll have a air pressure to pump out coming soon.Highly recomended for clean & safe fluid extracting, that is enviromentally friendly.
