"This item is very well constructed, I expect it to last a long time. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is there is some "backlash" in the adjustment.

You get the stream set and you can move the nozzle a 1/16" of an inch or so and it completely alters the spray pattern."

"Works just like a miniature fire-hose nozzle. Gives a wide range of spary types. Durable - can stand a lot of abuse. Does not give off a good "rain" type spray for watering delicate plants - but does just about everything else perfectly. If you want a nozzle you don't have to replace every year, this is the one!"

"What I like most about this nozzle is that you don't have to squeeze a trigger to keep it turned on! You just adjust it to the spray you want and it stays on until you turn it off! It may sound like a small thing, but try it and you will see what I mean."

"I bought this nozzle after reading the reviews. I hooked it up to the front of my home's hose spigot where it tees in with my towns water supply and I was shooting a full stream of water at least 35 feet! I went to the back of the house to try that spigot and it wasn't as much...so I changed out that spigot with a ball valve which was less restrictive and got my pressure back. If you do that in cold climates be sure to turn the inside valve off and drain it so it doesn't freeze.. The local stores have a similar one but it does not turn off both ways. I love this nozzle for washing my car as I can quickly shut it off as I work my way around the car. Works awesome for hosing down sidewalks and driveways too. I cleaned the fins on my a/c unit outside and I could adjust the stream perfectly to flood and rinse the rows of fins to my satisfaction."

"A nicely machined nozzle at a mid level price. You can shut off water flow by twisting in either direction. Nozzles that can only be shut off in one direction leave you trying to control a full force blast at the exact time when you want minimum flow."

I tested mine spraying up into my pecan trees and by using triangulation come up with about 30 ft. A lot of variables come into play, however, including your water pressure, diameter and length of your hose, and wind velocity. My hose was 5/8" x 75 ft. and the wind was calm. Our city water pressure is about 55#.

I bought this nozzle and on my towns water supply I was shooting a pretty full stream a good 40 feet.You do need good water pressure with decent GPM available.
You didn't say how high your tree was or if you are trying to flush the worms off your tree.
