Keeps the dust off,

"I give this a 3 only because it is not really a neccesity. But if you are picky (like me) and wna the garage to look nice and finished get one to keep the garage dust off of the switches. If dusty switches bother you then you need it. It does finish off the installation nice. You will probably want the flush trim kit too if you are interested in this cover. Easy to install."
