Good additioin to a regular shop vacume
This is not a replacement for a large regular shop vac, but it is a great addition to my shop. I've always dreaded getting out the big 10 gallon shop vac to clean up the smallest messes. Its wonderful to have something small and lightweight that i can grab off the wall and do a quick cleanup without even plugging it in thanks to it accepting dewalts 18 volt batteries.
One thing i wish this product had was a built in charger. It would be nice to plug the vacuum into the wall and it charge the 18 volt battery instead of having to remove the battery and use the external charger.
My only other complaint about the product it that it has a bit of a high pitch squeal to it that can get annoying after a while.
Other than that, i would recommend this product for small cleanups around the shop and house... As long as your baby is not asleep.

Portable Dewalt Vac
I have had one of the vacs and "loved it", Working in tight spaces , in the HVACR Field ,Working in Fast Food Stores not having to run power cords all over and causing a trip hazard this was great. Cleaning up the top of items you normally could not get to with a shop vac and being on a battery made it "WONDERFUL" , I always carried at least 2 extra batteries but it was worth it

Great price on a great item!
The Dewalt battery/corded wet/dry vac is an awesome deal. Big jobs require a larger vacuum but this little, quality item makes small and tight jobs a breeze. We do winterizations and when we need to remove water from a small space this vacuum is revolutionary. When the power is off Dewalt is to the rescue. Make sure you currently have Dewalt tools or also purchase the battery and charger because with this item they are sold separately.

Lightweight and Portable Wet Vac
DeWalt's cordless/corded wet/dry vac is small, lighweight and portable. It runs off either 120V AC or the DeWalt battery packs. Unfortunately, the 18 volt battery drains after only about 20-30 minutes. Also, the filter seems to clog quickly once it gets wet. Its small size (2-gallon tank, 5-foot hose with a 1.25-inch diameter) are perfect for small projects. Extra batteries and spare filters may be needed for larger projects.

2 Gal wet/dry vac
Pros - Lightweight, compact, durable construction, fits well in truck cabinet.
Cons - Not enough suction on cord or battery, filter gets clogged when damp, not a battery charger.

This products sucks... in a good way
Great vacuum, light weight, easy to use, average-good on suction, drains batteries some what fast, would be nice if it was a battery charger as well. Always good to have around for small jobs.

Size Power and Power
How many times have you just finished cleaning up and put all your equipment away only to find out you missed the spot where you were working. Being able to carry this to the spot and not worry about the cord is awesome. But this is not your normal wimpy 12v car vac that you end up throwing out because it has no power THIS ONE WORKS and as it has the option to plug it in as well it eliminates the need to carry two vacuums. Put this one in your truck you will use it!

You won't be disappointed
This Vacuum is another great tool built by Dewalt. I'm a electrician and I use this vacuum all of the time. Its light and very portable it sits on the bottom of my cart so I have access to it at all times. If you already have any other Dewalt 18v cordless tools then this is a no brainer. You can leave all of the areas that you have worked in cleaner than they were when you first got there. It make's people remember how professional you were when you leave the site nice and clean.

cordless vacume
We use several of these around an automotive shop It does a fantastic job
the battery last quite a while and with no cord it makes it real easy to move around and it seems to suck up most anything
But of course it is a battery powered unit so it does have some suction limitations but all in all it does all that its asked to do.
