"This unit is not as bright as some similar priced lights, but this is water-proof so it just what I needed. It is bright, expandable to a large size (regardless of what some reviewers think) if you loosen it enough, and seems to have a good battery life. I would recommend this to anyone."

Excellent with a bit of modification,

"I'm not sure if the first one of these I bought had a shorter than normal strap or if they all are that way but it fit like putting on a size small hat, I wear either a large or extra-large.
However, I really liked the light output. So I took off the straps, and cut down light mount so all that was left was the 2 lugs to which the light mounts with a strip of plastic between them. It looked like a flat bottomed "U" . then took an old baseball type cap and cut 2 rectangular slots in the brim through which I pushed the light mount lugs of the modified light mount from the top so the light ends up below the brim. (I cut the slots far enough back so the light when re-installed is about flush with the front of the brim) All that was left was to re-install the light to the mount, run the wire under the cap and mount the battery case on the pre-existing adjustment strap of the cap.
Also with repeated changing of the batteries the neg. contact for the batteries tend to get flattened down and cause bad battery connection problems,, I solved that by cutting 3 small squares of 1/16 inch thick craft foam and putting them behind the neg.battery connection straps, to give the existing connection a bit more spring pressure.
Since I made the first one for myself I've had many friends and family members ask me to make them one like it.
I use the 15minute rechargeable batteries with mine and get enough light to comfortably read by in a pitch black room for 25 to 30 hours per charge depending on the age of the batteries."

"A friend of mine wanted some lights to work in his garden so I bought him 1 and he came back and requested a few more as he had both hands free to do his work and they were bright enough. So I gota few for myself while doing my house wiring during the evening hours. Perfect for the job.."

"Waterproof LED Headlight
Working on my model railroad,cutting on my miter saw,replacing a switch in a dark room, working under the car ,riding the bike at night, taking a walk at night, keep one in the car and in the motorhome for emergencies, and one by the bed for power outages (which we have often). I find a new use every week. Wouldn't be without the four I have and will order some more for gifts
Headlight is comfortable to wear, very bright light, and can be aimed so you can see what you are working on and have both hands to work with.
A must have at a fair price."

"I bought one og these led lights for just around the house. After my first use, I purchased 4 more and then bought 10 more for christmas gifts. It lasts 30 hours and is the best led out on the market.
