Does a battery with a carrying handle interfer in any manner with the case function?

A battery with handle will not interfere as long as it will still fit in the box. The largest battery(measured with handle) that this will hold is 14" L x 10-1/8" W x 11" H.

quality meets price A good quality battery box with snap down lid and strap for security. For the price it cant be beat. I have it on all my augers and also on some seeding equipment we manufacture. October 9, 2012

BEST Bang for the Buck! I wish I would have come to Northern Tool for a battery box when I needed a new one for my boat a few years ago, because I think I paid DOUBLE for the one that I ended up buying from an online boating supplier. This Noco box will be going on my pop-up trailer tongue, as the trailer's prevous owner lost the top to the one the trailer originally came with. The Noco box is made of heavier plastic than the one I paid double for, and it has molded-in snaps to help hold the top on as well as a strap with a buckle. Thanks Northern for the great product at an AWESOME price! October 11, 2011

AWESOME QUALITY I love fishing and have two boats. I have purchased battery boxes before, but this battery box is awesome. It has a thick, heavyduty plastic walls which dont break. I have purchased cheaper battery boxes before that were made in china and they broke quickly, especially in cold weather. This box never breaks...Glad to see some stuff is still made in the US.
