Concentric/Haldex Hydraulic Pump - 16 GPM, 2-Stage, Model# 1001507
Haldex 16 gpm pump
Bought this for a homemade log splitter, 4 1/2" x 24" cylinder & 10 hp briggs & stratton; been running the pump steady and it hasn't let me down. Pump performs well under load; I haven't been able to find anything I can't split. I would recommend this to anyone building their own splitter or replacing an old pump on a splitter.

Good pump But.....
Good pump, been using it a while now without any problems. However it does not come with a key to the imput shaft. The bolt kit also does not include a key to the pump. You will need to get your own length of keystock and cut your own.

Excellent hydraulic pump for log splitter
I use this hydraulic pump for a DIY Log Splitter. I use a 6.5HP Honda engine to power the pump. This is an excellent pump that gives a great output for log splitter. I have been using it for 3 months now to split approximately 5 cords of woods with no problems. If you are thinking of making a log splitter and have at least a 6.5HP engine, I would certainly recommend this product!

Haldex 16 GPM
I use this on a home made wood processor. It is powered by a Honda GX 340. The pump is great, it works well all the time. We have been using it for almost two years with no problems. We have used it in all temps from 95 degrees to 15 below with out a hitch. It runs a 4" cylinder and two hydraulic motors and two 11/2" cylinders. If you need a two stage pump and have a big enough engine this is a great pump.

Dont waste your hard earned money
This pump was the biggest piece of JUNK ! Did not make one full cycle on my log splitter before it locked up! Save your money and look else where!

16 GPM Haldex Pump
So far so good! We are turning this pump with a Briggs & Stratton 10 hp 305cc engine on a portable hydraulics application. It has been working real well for us!
We used the hydraulic powerpack this morning at about 30 degrees F. After a brief warm-up, we went to work, using the hydraulic system. Flow was great, even in the cold weather! Thanks!

I built a log spliter using the Haldex 16 gallon per minute, two stage pump. It surpassed my expectations greatly. Its one of the fastest log spliters I have seen.

Haldex Hydraulic Pump
I have an old wood splitter that just was not producing the GPM's I needed. I bought the 16 GPM, 2-stage. The thing I liked most was I didn't have to change any fittings, they matched right up. I did change my hoses (the other ones were cheapies). It was simple to change out and not a headache like most things, and I am very happy. More hydraulic fluid helps speed up the splitting process. If your looking for a good working pump for what ever reason, I would recommend you look at this one.

Haldex Hydraulic Pump - 16 GPM, 2-Stage, Model# 10
This is my second pump that I have used on my home built log splitters, the pump picks up prime real fast, and keeps a constant pressure, I use 5" cylinders with 2" rods, for max pressure (3000 psi) as that is all the Prince valve is rated for. Overall this pump works great with no cavatation. PS: wheels, tires, axle stubs, wedge, hoses, motor pump bracket, oil cap, strainer, 2" hitch tongue, cylinder mount, all from Northern Tool. Great selection I might add.

I ordered this 16 gal. per minute pump from Northern last winter and put it on my homemade logsplitter, it work's fast and will split the toughest oak or elm I have ever cut, it is really a bargain, and perform's better than advertised, thank's Northern for fine product's.
