Good bug zapper
This is a good bug zapper! It was easy to setup. I hung a hook by an outdoor outlet and plugged it in. I have a screened in pool but I still get some gnats and mosquitoes. I was very surprised at how many dead bug there are. Great price too!

Flowtron Electronic Insect Killer
After ~2 months of use, rate this as an great Product.
For mosquito control I definitely recommend the attractant.
But for general flying pest control all around, this does great with or without attractant.
The Product seems durable, performs well killing a multitude of bugs with the ever satisfying dead bug zzzzzzzaaap sounds. The outer construction is of a durable and somewhat flexible plastic, which is excellent for standing up to weather and even some impact even after dropping it a few times, and having it knocked off its hanger a few times, the unit is the same as it came out of the box, and suffered no ill effects.
Downside is the short cord for a connection, but chances are you will be using an extension cord anyway to keep the unit a distance away from whatever area you are occupying at the time.

Wrong Light Wavelength
This product emits ultraviolet light, which mosquitoes cannot detect. Mosquitoes hunt by CO2 emission, heat signature or (red) infrared light. The flying insects that are attracted to this ultraviolet light are pollinating insects as most flowering plants have an ultraviolet pattern to direct these insects to the flower. Any mosquito that flies into this "trap" is accidental. Killing pollinating insects is damaging to crops.I wish people would stop buying these pieces of junk. If you want to kill mosquitoes get a CO2 generator and a infrared light.

Bug zapper
I purchased two of these units this past Spring. I placed one near the house and one near my barn. They both worked so well that I had to blow out all of the dead bugs from the screen about every 2-3 days. They both killed mosquitos even without the bait. The only bad news is that both units stopped working before the end of the season due to the starter bulb burning out on each unit (within weeks of one another). The good news is that Flowtrons Customer service sent out new starters within a day or two (under warranty). The repair made, and the carnage continued.

Bugs Gone
I tried my zapper at first in the Garage with the door open & ended up with about an inch of dead bugs in the morning and a 1,000 more on the ceiling because I shut it off. It attracts them and destroys them. I live in an extremely enriched mosquito environment and it has not let me down.

Flowtron Insect Killer
Performs as described. Reliable, used for 4 seasons of constant use before bulb needed replacement. Easy to clean. Have one each in front and back of house, in wooded mountian area, and has made a noticeable difference in bugs that make it into the house.

Flowtron "bugwhacker"
A great unit that does just what it's supposed to do - whack bugs! I have a cabin on a lake in Mississippi, and skeeters are horrible at times. I've got this unit hanging under the cabin near an electrical outlet and a water hose. I plug it in at dusk, and in the morning it's absolutely clogged with dead bugs. I simply unplug it and, right or wrong, hose the bugs off with water. It's dry by that evening, and I repeat the process. I like to fish off the dock at night, and the unit makes a noticable difference by attracting a lot of the bugs away from myself.
HIghly recommended.

Flowtron Electronic Insect Killer
Fifty feet from the pool, it is surprising effective, and survived several severe windstorms.
