Low Profile Tool Box
I bought these boxes for tool storage in an RV. I think they will work fine for that. They are very light plastic-one came in with a broken hinge- so I don't think they would endure a lot of handling.

perfect size to fit behind truck seat
This tool box is the perfect size to fit behind the back seat of my Ford F350 crew cab. There is only about six inches behind the seat and this box fit perfect! I was surprised to see how many tools I could fit in such a slim tool box.

Great Toolbox
It fits where other boxes won't. Smaller size but still holds the essential tools. Much easier to carry than other big boxes. Mine has held up for years of rough use.

No more searching
This slim storage stackable box is ideal for the person that usally drops those small items in back seat of there truck. These items tends to roll around and travel across the floor getting underneathed the seats. Now, I keep all my little dropped items in my handed Slim Line Tool Box purchase from Northern Tools & Equipment; it stores underneath the back seat out sight.
Great selection of product.

An Excellent and Very Functional Toolbox
Besides being used as a toolbox, this item is an excellent and economical substitute to carry small power tools. I own three of these toolboxes and use two of them for carrying corded drills (a 3/8" and a right angle). Even with carrying a drill in the toolbox I can also fit a couple of bit boxes/indexes.
Stack-On did change the toolbox design by deleting the foam liner on the bottom. I bought this same toolbox three years ago and at that time it did come with a foam liner.

stack-on tool boxes
My Travel trailer does not have a lot of storage or easily accessible storage, this tool box provided the slim line storage for my necessary tools for my trailer and when you stack them on top of one another they stay put. The size is deceptive they hold more than it would appear they could, and they clean easily. I looked at alot of tool boxes before I purchased these
