Great safe tool
This Jack is a lifesaver. For years I tried to use a floorjack and blocks to raise a vehicle high enough to be able to work under it. This Jack makes lifting a vehicle very quick and safe. I wish I would have bought one sooner.

Torin Bumper Jack
Bought this jack for dirt modified race car. Seems to work ok for this but isn't overpowered. Too light for full size car or truck.

bumper jack
Jack works fairly well, paint scratches off easily, sticks at the very bottom of the letdown, sometimes have to bump it to make it finish. Could use a better up and down lever, this one is hard to get at. Overall fair product for the price.

GREAT ADDITION TO MY GARAGE TOOLS!!
I AM A SENIOR CITIZEN AND DO MOST MAINTENANCE ON OUR VEHICLES MYSELF. ONE PROBLEM I ENCOUNTERED WAS CRANKING A HYDRAULIC JACK TO GET UNDER A VEHICLE. I SHOPPED EVERY WHERE FOR A USED AIR BUMPER JACK BUT THESE THINGS ARE IN GREAT DEMAND AND ARE EXPENSIVE IF YOU CAN FIND THEM. I DID A SEARCH ON THE NET AND FOUND THE TORIN MODEL TRH9303 AT NORTHERN CHEAPER THAN MOST USED UNITS I FOUND. I PERSUADED THE BANKER (WIFE) TO CUT LOOSE WITH FUNDS AND SUBMITTED MY ORDER.
THE CRAFTSMANSHIP ON THE JACK WAS A VERY PLEASANT SURPRISE. THE JACK IS SIMPLY MADE WHICH MEANS I CAN REPAIR IT EASILY IF IT EVER NEEDS IT. IT IS EXTREMELY STURDY AND WELL ENGINEERED.
I HAVE ABSOLUTELY NO PROBLEM RECOMMENDING THIS PRODUCT.
DID I SAY THAT I HAVE PAID FOR THE JACK BY DOING MAINTENANCE THAT I WOULD NOT HAVE BEEN ABLE TO DO HAD I NOT HAD IT. MADE ME A REAL HERO WITH THE BANKER AND HEAVEN KNOWS I NEED ALL THE POINTS I CAN GET.

2 mistakes
I bought two of the Torin Air Bumper Jacks to lift storage sheds that weigh less than 3500. With their combined capacities of 5000 lbs, this should be no problem. Unfortunately one of the jacks came slightly damaged. The handle at the top of the cylinder was slighty bent and we noticed it imediately. We assumed a little shipping mishandling was responsible and it was only cosmetic. Later while trying to lift our first shelter with our new jacks, we had a great deal of difficulty lowering the jack. Upon closer inspection we discovered the entire lifting frame was slighly tweaked and would pinch on the lower cylinder. This was obviously not shipping damage, just poor quality. The other jack had its own problems. It too would jam, and the valves for the compressed air would not work unless wiggled and messed with until they released air. This is very disconcerting with 3000 + lbs above your head. I know this is not exactly what they were designed to lift, but I would trust them even less with my truck in the air. Besides the intermitant air valves and the cylinder jaming, we had one jack just blow out and drop to the safety catch. All in all a big waste of money. For a little more get a good jack, and don't buy this one.
