How many amps does this motor have?

Details:

Is this pump good enough to pull water from the lake for 12 sprinklers on one acre lot. Are there any accessories needed with this pump ?

Answers

This IPT pump does does not include a motor, so the Amp draw will depend on what motor you decide to install.

You can determine if this pump will support your application by taking your 12 sprinkler heads and multiplying the required GPM for each head, this will need to equal 120 GPM or less.

Answers

The IPT pedestal pump shaft size is 1 7/8" diameter with a 3/16" keyway. By looking at the shaft on the pump, the rotation of the shaft is CCW.

What is the horizontal distance this pump can pump water?

Details:

My application requires a long run, about 700ft, from a pond to a garden, but only rises about 15 ft.

Answers

The IPT pump will provide a 20 ft. lift, but will only provide a total head of 95 ft.

won't perform I bought two of these for use on an irrigation truck. The specs say they will self prime from 20 ft. Didn't matter what we tried we could not get them to lift at all. They worked marginally with a flooded suction but that was all. Yes we tried all the tests with both pumps so if it was a bad pump we got two in a row. April 18, 2012
