"Installation was easy with my brotherinlaw who has done a lot of wiring. It works great heated my 30x34 garaged pretty easily and i live in North Dakota, it gets extremely cold in the winter here. Worked good for me."

"Very compact and easy to install with two bracket options-wall mount or ceiling mount. The unit is relatively quiet running and heats my 40x20 insulated shop quite well. Makes the electric meter spin fast, but needs no ventilation like gas units do. Used a 50 amp breaker with #10 gauge wire to the unit per labeling in unit. Very well constructed-hope it lasts for years."

"This heater does the job on an insulated 24x24 workshop (with a second floor 16x24 also insulated, plenty of single pane windows, and garage doors on east and west sides) on the north end of a 24x60 garage in Michigan's Upper Peninsula. Temperature comes up quickly in sub-zero weather and thermostat holds desired setting. Couldn't ask for better performance in an adverse setup. Easy to install. Wish I had bought it 20 years ago."

Not So Hot,

"I am using this unit to heat a barn that is 20' x 30'. The coils never get anywhere near red. They stay gray, and fairly warm air comes through. This is the case even with the thermostat al the way up. Is it possible that I have a lemon?"

Great Heater,

"I am sure if you are like me you have looked at this heater and wondered if it will do the job and how much electricity will it use. I have had it about 4 months and it is great. My shop in 30X40 with 9 1/2 ceiling. It is well insulated but this heater has no problem heating it. I am in the south but we had a few very cold months, my power bill was up about $125 a month. Now I am heating the shop 24/7 and keep it very warm. This is about the same amount I was spending on kerosene for only daytime heating plus had to deal with the smell and going to get it about once a week. It is nice to walk in the shop in the morning and it is nice and toasty. I have seen several that says the fan is loud, it don't sound loud to me, just like a small fan running."

Heats Large Area Well,

"I have my shop in a 1150 sqare foot 3-car garage with insulation. I bought this heater because of the rating and the ability to heat this large of space. It heats very well, but not as fast as some of the other reports. If I turn it up to 9, I can get the temp from 55 to 70 in about an hour. That's considerably better than running space heaters and waiting hours sucking up electricity."

10,000 watt commecial heater,

"I recently bought model #OASU10000T heater made by Ouellet for my garage.
I was looking to replace my old method of heating... temporary heat with a 20 lb. cylinder. This heater works great! I am heating a 28' x 40' three car garage, and when it was 40 degrees the other morning it took 10 minutes to get to t-shirt temperature.
It is easy to hook up. I used #8 wire with 50 amp breaker, and it works better than I had suspected. No need to cut exhaust hole in garage wall either.
I would recommend this heater to anyone who is still doing the "temp" heating thing. This will be much more cost efficient in the end."
