Very specific uses,

"The flap discs did not perform per expectation, but that doesn't mean they are bad. They need to be used for very specific applications. They do not flap as the name might imply, but resemble more of a grinding wheel in actual use. The wearing of the sandpaper, allows fresh abrasive surface to be available as the product wears. It worked will for flat metal applicatons."
