Lasts 3-4 years with continuous use
Although the manufacturer doesn't recommend it, I use this product (along with the original 8' leg 18'x20' frame) as a year-round cover for the two vehicles in my driveway. From scorching 100+ F summer sun, to 6" of snow in the winter, to springtime hail storms, it has held up remarkably well. It was the solution that finally thwarted that nefarious squirrel in my Oak tree that loved denting my parked vehicles with half-eaten acorns. After 3-1/2 years I am now ordering a replacement, as the original is beginning to get brittle with UV exposure and has developed some small rips and holes. It still looks fairly white and clean however, which is amazing given that it is partially under an Oak tree.
Some recommendations: anchor the frame well. It looks like a hang glider and acts like one. I ended up attaching the legs to concrete pier blocks buried in the ground. Buy the additional bungee pack, as you'll need a few replacements per season. It can be installed by one person (I did it by myself), but pick a calm wind day. The cover gets loose with age, and it's difficult to make it as tight as I'd like with just the bungees. The looseness is primarily a problem with snow, as it slides nicely off a tight cover but tends to accumulate on and weigh down a loose one. The cover has never failed with snow on it, but two grommets did pull out once with about 6" on top, which is about the most I ever get around here.

Replacement Canopy Top
This product is light weight and very strong. It can be handled very easily by one person. I purchased this item to replace a much heavier tarp. I am very satisfied with this product.

Shelter Top
We use this shelter as a temporary maintenence area. It holds up well, even with the guys welding inside the tent area. We also order the enclosure kit to help keep out wind and rain. Easy to put together as well.
