"The shoulder dolly worked as described, my wife was amazed at the ease of which she could lift heavy items. Most of the items we moved where narrow and tall so balance was an issue. The wider items seemed easier, less side sway. Over all I would recommend the Shoulder Dolly to any one that needs to move heavy items and wants less back strain. Beats a hand truck by a mile."

"We were having problems lifting item's and moving them without possible back injuries. The shoulder dolly lifting system was introduced to me by a co-worker who had seen them on Northerns site. I had my doubts but ordered two sets. We are now using the shoulder dolly lifting system for most of our equipment moves. It very easy to use and takes the worry out of back injuries. I would recommend this lifting system for everyone who needs to move or pick up anything that may cause injury to your back."

"Since being retired and having bad knees, I needed to move some furniture in my home but couldm't bend past chest level. The dolly actually made my job 100% easier. My wife and I moved a refridgerator using the shoulder dolly with ease. I did not have to bend as much and walking with the fridge was easy. What a back and knee saver. I've been lending out the shoulder dolly to relatives and they also think it's the next best thing to asking a mover."

"Works pretty well but need to consider who is on the other end when you lift. Could lose balance if your not careful. Not a bad product but still better to use a wheeled dolly."

"I purchased a set of "shoulder dolly straps" when my son's family moved and he chose to move himself. I'm over 60 and can not lift by bendind down, so this system worked extremely well with heavy furniture by allowing you to lift with your thigh muscles, not your back. The weight of the furniture is carried evenly across your shoulders and your arms do not tire out like they normally would. When we started, no one wanted to fool with the "strappy thing", but by mid-morning everyone was asking for their turn with the "strappy do-bee". My son kept the shoulder dolly straps (imagine that), so I purchased a second set to keep at home. Caution: each time you lift, make sure you spread the shoulder straps out across your shoulders, don't let them bunch up near your neck. Do that, and you can lift all day........I did."

"The shoulder dolly works good as long as you are on a flat surface. Once you try going up the stairs its impossible to adjust it to keep it off the ground."
