How does a person measure the bolt circle of an engine?

Answers

The bolt circle is measured from the center of the shaft to the center of one of the mounting holes and double it. For example if the distance from the center of the shaft to the center of the mounting hole is 4 inches then the bolt circle is 8 inches.

The engine is a carburetored engine. It does have the smart choke carburetor.
