"I have purchased several different brands and sizes of diamond blades. I am a masonry contractor and use these tools commonly. The main two that I can comapre is a "Big brand" blade and these Northern Industrial (National Diamond) blades. In the 4 1/2" blades the Northern blade outcut, and outlasted the "big brand" blade by more than 50%!! I couldn't believe it. The blades are very similar to look at in comparison, but the Northern blade is less than 1/4th the price of the "big brand" and outlasted it in a dry cut use. I have also used the same two in a 14" diameter and yet again, the same results were rendered. The Northern blade was around $80.00, and the others are $200 plus. If you want more bang for the buck I can highly, and have recommended the National Diamond blades!"
